Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s the Lumen Summer Camp superheroes flying across the beautiful, sunny sky. Across the day, some of us have ensured we are ‘superhero ready’ by making personalised masks and cuffs to wear. Additionally, we have built cities and then defended them in fierce Avengers style battles. Many of us have thoroughly enjoyed getting messy to create superhero handprints. Outside, we have undergone incredible superhero training via obstacle courses and secret missions. Some of us have played a superheroes vs villains game of hide and seek. During our games sessions, we have played some of our favourite sports with a superhero twist: Rounders was a firm favourite. The grown-ups were incredibly impressed with our superhero chants and songs that we created to kickstart our first day of camp. This afternoon, we came together to play an exciting game of superhero corners. Unicorns and dragons unite, for tomorrow, it is Myths and Legends day!
