Princesses and Knights Day

It’s been royal waves, curtsies and bows all day long here at camp - we’d expect nothing less on Princesses and Knights day. We have made sparkling crowns, shiny swords and protective shields and then worn them proudly throughout the day. In true team spirit, we have worked together to build epic castles of all sizes - some were bigger than us. One group built a castle inside their group room and played inside all day long. Outside, some groups held a castle battle and launched ‘cannonballs’ at one another in an attempt to be crowned the most superior. During our sports sessions, we enjoyed games such as ‘Save the Princess’ where we had to slay the dragons by getting the ball into the basketball hoop - it was a close competition with many knights battling it out to save the princess. In the pool, we thoroughly enjoyed splashing around and some of us pretended to be one of the popular Disney Princesses - Ariel. We came together at the end of the day to play Capture the Flag where all princesses, knights and other royals attempted to get the flag from their opposing kingdoms. Pop your wellies on ready for tomorrow as we are heading Down to the Farm.
